Sinead should be on the plane to Japan now.
This is kewen, and Sinead stupidly gave me her password for "emergencies" while she was away.
*waves to ahriman_lives' f-list*
... *f-list stares blankly back*
I'm bored, this definately counts as an emergency. And everyone should definately go and have a look at her userinfo, as I've joined her up to a lot of wonderful communities.
Here's something to make her want to eat my head when she sees this entry;
Comment with what you would want to do to Sinead if you found her tied to a chair in a dark room

Tomorrow I depart for Japan.
The computer is still not fixed. *makes face*
Without it I am turning into a wholesome human being. I must halt this tirade of moral decay.
And without checking my flist for three days? Well, "friends?skip=480"
LOST.
OMFG LOST.
OMFGWTF LOST.
OMFGWTFOMG!11 LOST.
You bastards.

My computer died today.
Woe! for I failed to take heed of the foreshadowing screen-stutters of DOOM.
My attempts to force connection upon mother's work Laptop have proved a failure.
I ANGST AT THE UNFAIRNESS OF IT ALL.
And woe! again for on the wall of the internet café where in I sit is pinned the typographically impaired notice;
"PLEASE DO NOT VIEW ANY PORNOGRAPHIC MATETIALS IN HERE"

Labour.
It's better than waking up under Tory government.
I'm actually bloody pleased with the whole thing. I stayed up last night to watch it and was quite sure at one point that the Tories might take it.
UKIP flopped, thank God.
And the Lib Dems have shown that they're a legitimate threat.
George Galloway got Bethnal Green and Bow! *mini-happy dance*
Summary: Mneh in a contented way.
v_enna is currently running a poll on The British General Election in America.

kewen and I have formed a new militant group.
We are now the Sosiety phor the Prevention oph Unnesessary Letters.
We believe the following letters to be redundant;
C, F, J, X
We will campaign for their removal from the English language.
Further more, we believe that the following numbers have no relevance in Modern Life;
1, 18, 36, 58, 12,500, 'infinity'
Whilst many believe the number '1' to be a necessary starting point for the numerical system, we at SptPoUL believe it that the best idea is to begin at '10' and work backwards.
The Sosiety phor the Prevention oph Unnesessary Letters is currently looking for new recruits.

Picture the scene, if you will.
Central Line. Emily having just departed and there I am, a lap full of porn, contently reading.
I notice that the person in the next seat is sitting closer than such people usually do.
So I look up. And I find that he is actually reading over my shoulder.
Man: It's good. Sinead's brain: 0___________o Sinead: 0_________________o Man: So, is this for school? Sinead: No. It's called fanfiction. It's an internet thing. Man: fnubaliction? Sinead: Fan. Fiction. You take characters and situations and write stories with them. Man: Did you write this? Sinead: *panic* No! My . . . friend did. Man: *carries on reading* Sinead's brain: I am so not liking that he's gazing so intently at your crotch. Sinead: HERE! TAKE! Sinead's brain: . . . you do realise that was rated 'NC-17'? Sinead: Shit.
The man reads the printed pages.
I find comfort in the knowledge that both boys remain fully clothed until page eight.
I stand to leave.
Man: So, they're gay? Sinead's brain: saynosaynofortheloveofgodSAYNO Sinead: *emphatically* Yes! Man: Watch out for those chatrooms.

I just watched Pirates of the Caribbean.
Yes, the essential must-see film of two years ago.
True, it was fun watching Johnny Depp prance around in a manner that Eddie Izzard may well claim copyright to, and the special effects, though dubious, were cool.
The only thing that stopped me enjoying the film (my inability to take it seriously aside) was merely that I didn't care what the hell happened to any of them.
I might have cared if they were characters and not just three heroes with varying degrees of alcohol dependency and androgynous tendencies.
Other things:
maxine_chan's Starts with a Spin makes the world a beautiful place. Yosra has an LJ - admiralmooncake Ring is an awesome movie.

Dude, v_enna and I feature in Thing 2005's photo gallery!
Well, perhaps "feature" is too strong a word. "Appear in" might be more accurate.
Perhaps "appear" is too strong a word. Um, shall I say that the pictures acknowledge our existence.
Maybe "acknowledge" is too strong a word. "Loosely represent" might fit the description better.
Actually, "represent" is too strong a word.
You'll see what I mean.
One. Two. Three.
In my current state of anti-health, I want to encourage you all to update more frequently between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 GMT.

I managed to miss my Journal's birthday. A year on and still I neglect it.
Well, it's been a year and three days. Certainly, over this year and three days LiveJournal has made life a happier passtime.
And you are to blame, dear f-list. All you, the wonderful people that I have met. My pretty people who give me links, tell me stories, listen to my fangirl squees.
If you were more than well-interpreted strings of '0's and '1's, I would hug you.
-- Empire Sq. Why does no one else think it's awesome? -- I met him! -- spookygosqueek, where the fuck are you? You said "real update later". That was November. -- Some video clips! of me and my friends on our day at Cyprus can be found here, here, here, here and here.

Sinead refuses to update - apparently, she wants to give you all the idea that she's not human. Chuh. (I'm not saying she's wrong, but.)
She won't even post when WE MET WEEBL AND BOB. :D Well, the creators. And we got Piewear shirts and Weebl signed my poster!!
It is very hot today. I want to swim. :(

Nightwish - 19th February, Astoria, London, UK
astra_argentea, I wish that I could say that not meeting you detracted from the evening. But, as Jukka said, - whilst I was talking to him - "I hardly ever lie".
The concert itself was amazing. They all were quite clearly exhausted (*adorable*) but still a bloody amazing show.
Empuu does the cutest things. He ruffled Marco's hair! *dies* And they kept cuddling! OMG!Adorable!
Marco was singing to me in Wish I Had An Angel. Tuomas blew me a kiss during the stage call.
Ugzh.
Okay, after the concert as always, v_enna, shinabu, kewen, mindcorrupter and I went to try to stalk meet the band outside.
Marco was the first to leave.
monkey_fever had decided to bring along a thong to the concert to throw at Marco. It was passed on to me when she left.
I gave Marco panties. *facepalm*
Tuomas came out not long after that. He signed autographs, held my hand, hugged kewen and v_enna then left.
Jukka - OMFGFOMFGOMFG. He is the nicest person in the world I love him.
He stayed and talked to us. He was so sweet. And we talked for ages. Until he was dragged away by Tommi. He hugged me. *dance* But he talked. And it was so lovely of him.
Oh, and Ewo gave us Nightwish condoms. Which Jukka signed.

Nightwish is once again creeping closer [OMFGTWODAYS]. astra_argentea, if you don't have sense policies concerning molestation meeting people from LiveJournal, I'd love for you to find me there.
It was my Checkmate anniversary on Tuesday. That prompted kewen to finally upload pictures that we took to celebrate the release of Checkmate 13, back in January.

Pic-spam and whole story later. And really, whole story. Don't expect me to shut up about this. Ever.
THEY'RE ALL SO FUCKING CUTE. And they're so all fucking.

True, I have not half the talent that lunatwilight has when it comes to making those witty comments about the idiocy of people.
There are times, however when things just need to be said. Things such as, 'Computers neither know nor care who your crush is'.
I feel tempted to make a colour bar.
Happy Birthday, ovendoor. I did so buy you a present.

Erm, a milk bottle just came through my window.
No one was hurt but it was a pretty close shave. Caitlin was right there in the middle of it all of it as we all were. Really, we're bloody lucky.
My main thought when all this happened: well, at least it'll make an interesting LJ post.
This has a lot of meaning right now.
